Dear Ms. Hrebenak:
My records request is on behalf of a resident. It is identical to the request I submitted on 09/10/2020. On 10/21/2020 you provided records from 21 to 42 years ago (1978 to 1999). These records were far beyond the scope of my request. When I inquired if any additional records existed beyond 1999, your response was that those were the only records on file for the requested property. As such, my current request only seeks government documents for the period 10/21/2020 to the present.
Having said that, the government records I seek are those permitted under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq. Namely, agreements, contracts, applications, proposals, presentations, meeting notes, memoranda, and engineering reports for the subject property.
Again, I believe the requested records comply with the definition of a government record as defined in the Open Public Records Act.

I have contacted the Construction office and there have been no new
permits that have been filed between the dates requested.

The construction permits are granted for the owner of the property at the
time that the permit is pulled. If there is a different name that is
listed through the NJ Division of Taxation the property transferred to a
new owner sometime after the permit was pulled. If you are looking for
current owner of the property that is available through the township's
website at the below listed link.

Apparently there's a plan to develop the property. About 3 weeks ago a nearby resident informed me that she had spoken with a man who identified himself as a surveyor. He informed her there are plans for new constructions. Unless the man was some rogue trespasser, seems my records request should have produced records confirming such plans. Wouldn't you agree?
