Redactions have been made pursuant to NJSA 47:1A-1.1 (personally
identifying information) and NJSA 47:1A-1 (to safeguard a citizen’s
personal information which disclosure thereof would violate a citizen’s
reasonable expectation of privacy).

Regarding building permit histories, the Township makes them available on
line through our website.  In accordance with Rodriguez v. Kean
University, GRC Complaint 2013-69 (March 2014), we are providing you the
link to our website to use the portal [1]www.sdlportal.com.  If you find
you are unable to access the records you requested, please contact the
building department. Any address in Vernon with a permit history (and the
individual permits with their status as well as FEMA information) will
appear on this portal. The Vernon website is [2]www.vernontwp.com and the
building portal is on the opening page or you can access the portal
directly. Please take advantage of this portal in the future.

We have no separate files on an oil tank (which may be mentioned in the
permit history) or environmental issues but the DEP can be reached at
866-337-5669 for further inquiry.

Septic and well information can be obtained from the health department in
Hardyston who can be reached at 973-579-0570.
